During this talk, Dr. Megha Pancholi and Dr. Charlotte Small will discuss the physical and mental impact of period pain and ways to manage it. They’ll also talk about the facts and myths around endometriosis, how common it is, how the pain of endometriosis differs from typical period pain, and how you can get help if you think you suspect you may have undiagnosed endometriosis.

Dr. Charlotte Small is a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain Management, Chief Medical Officer at Leva and co-lead of the Wye Valley NHS Trust Pain Management Service. She trained in the Royal Air Force and the NHS and completed her PhD at the University of Birmingham. She has experience in treating a range of chronic pain conditions and is the cofounder of the Skylark Project, improving access to care for survivors of childhood sexual abuse, alongside the Flying Child Project.
Dr. Megha Pancholi is the Boots Online Doctor Clinical Lead for the Period Pain service and has worked in both the NHS and as a private GP. Dr Megha is passionate about educating patients about their health and empowering them to take a lead in managing their physical and mental wellbeing.
